Dorcina Mae Martin, 78, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, July 22.
She is survived by two sons, Huey Martin Jr. and wife Cindy of Hammond, La., and Perry Martin and wife Evelyn of Bourg, La.; one daughter, Carlene Hebert and husband Todd of Lubbock, Texas; one brother, John Ellis “Boy” Luke Sr, and wife Pat of Houma; one sister, Geraldine Arceneaux and husband Dale of Houma; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiltz Luke and Louise Toups Luke; and one son, Ralph Joseph Martin.
She was Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She loved country music and fishing.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 24, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
