Luncheon to recognize area’s foster parents; More adults needed to provide homes to youths

Doris Marie Boudreaux, 78, a native of Grand Caillou, La. and resident of Houma, La., died at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.


She is survived by her companion, Gerald Mire of Houma; three sons, David Liner of Houma, Philip Liner and wife, Ura Lee, of Gibson, La. and Jerome C. Liner of Houma; one daughter, Christine C. Liner of Houma; one brother, Bruce Boudreaux of Loveland, Colo.; two sisters, Norma Hebert of Houma and Anna Boudreaux of Irving, Tx.; two grandchildren, Philip Liner Jr. and Tranice “Missy” Liner; and two great-grandchildren, Janae May and Joshua Liner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Boudreaux Sr. and Aleda Carlos Boudreaux; two daughters, Bobbie Lynn Liner and Jennie Lee Marie Liner; two brothers, Carroll Boudreaux Jr. and Curtis Boudreaux Sr.; and one sister, Estelle Dupre.

She was a truck driver.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
