Doris Dennis

Doris Mae Dennis, 69, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Wednesday, June 16, 2010.

Mrs. Dennis was a member of Mechanicville Emmanuel Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons, David (Tammie) and Joseph (Gloriann) Dennis; daughters, Patricia Poole Elliot; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leola Butler; stepfather, Johnes English Sr.; son, Gregory Dennis; brother, Johnes English Jr.; sister, Leontine English; and grandparents, Albert & Loretta Dickerson.

She is buried at Mechanicville Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery.
