Doris H. “Dot” Naquin, 83, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014.
Mrs. Naquin was a loving and sweet wife, mother, “Maw-Maw” and friend. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and visiting her many friends. She always had a sweet smile and a positive attitude.
She is survived by her children, Eric (Ronda) and Mark (Gwen) Naquin and Mona (Jimmy) Gary; sister, Ruth Knight; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Naquin; parents, Phillip and Marion Hebert; sisters, Velma Ledet, Pearl LeBlanc and Merlyn Hebert; brothers, Dewey, Scuddy, Stanley and Junius Hebert; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Landry’s)
