Dorothie Mae Broussard Jones, 77, a resident of Bayou Vista, La., died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harold Jones; daughters, Ramona (Scott) Wigington, Rhonda (Dave) Burtner and Rosalind Jones; son, Danny (Debbie) DeRouen; sisters, Mary (Herman) Richard and Roberta (Edward) Sexton; brother Clevelin Broussard; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clance and Ozite Broussard; brothers, Norris and Nodley Broussard; sister, Blanche Hall; nephew, Danny Broussard; and niece, Paulette Broussard.
Burial was at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
