Dorothy B. Guillot, 80, a resident of Lafourche Parish, La., died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011.
Mrs. Guillot enjoyed a long career at Nicholls State University as assistant to the Dean of Engineering, She was also a member of Catholic Daughters, Ladies Altar Society, St. Mary’s Choir, VFW. Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and various other organizations. A generous soul, she will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Nelson Guillot; son, Bruce (Velma) Guillot; daughter, Sally Bourgeois; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Mabel Bourgeois; and brothers, Miller and Webster Bourgeois.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland with mass to follow. (Samart-Mothe)
