Dorothy “Dot” “Lil Dorothy” Thomas, 68, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, Saturday, June 21.
She is survived by four daughters, Doris Williams and husband, Reginald, Sheila Johnson and Linda and Betty Dirance; three sons, Silas, Jimmy and Joseph Dirance; five sisters, Alice Landry, Eva Thomas, Helen Johnson, Mary Jupiter and Elizabeth Jefferson; two brothers, Roosevelt and Wilfred Nora; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Edmond Nora.
She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville and 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday, June 28, at Beulah Baptist Church in Bertrandville, La. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
