Council restricts multi-colored tombs
January 23, 2012Dorothy “Dot” Lovell Billiot, 72, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:52 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012.
Mrs. Billiot was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crafting, cooking, fishing, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher (Shelly), Craig (Candy) and Bryant (Melissa) Billiot; daughters, Maxine (Gary) Gregoire, Sonia Billiot and Rhonda (David) Dore’; 12 grandchildren;; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Billiot; parents, Oleus and Mathilda Lovell; and brothers, Nelson and Junius Lovell.
Burial was at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. (Chauvin)
