July 11, 2011Dorothy Morris Rushing, 82, a resident of Donaldsonville, La., died Monday, July 4, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Michael) Tortorich; daughter-in-law Rose Rushing; sister, Shirley Morris; brothers, Kent and Ronnie Morris; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rushing Jr.; son, Walter Rushing III; sisters Muriel Simoneaux, Anna Young and Agnes Leblanc; and brothers Rudy, Nelson, Roy, Steve and Claude Morris.
Entombment was at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Mausoleum. (Ourso)
