Dorothy “Shirley” Marie Breaux Ledet, 79, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, June 30, at 7:44 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert Ledet, Sr. of Houma; sons, Herbert Ledet, Jr. and wife Connie, and Danny Joseph Ledet and fiancee’ Alice Fanguy of Houma; daughters, Linda Ledet Lottinger and husband, Michael of Bourg, La., and Cheryl Ledet Schouest and husband Chris of Houma; brothers: Herman Breaux and Ernest Breaux, Sr. of Houma; grandchildren, Chris Schouest, Jr., Cryshelle Schouest Patterson, Crystal Schouest, Ryan Lottinger, Christian Schouest and Katie Ledet; great-grandchildren, Jordan Schouest, Juliane Schouest, Jessilyn Schouest and Ava Claire Patterson
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Breaux and Nettie Louise Giroir Breaux; and sister, Gertrude Breaux Cunningham.
She was a Former Manager of Ki Ki’s Seafood and was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10p.m. Wednesday, July 2, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, at Chauvin Funeral Home’s Chapel, with a prayer service to follow. She will be buried at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
