Gov.’s wife joins effort to build Gray Habitat home

May 20, 2010Douglas Milton Chesson Jr., a native of Lafayette, La., and resident of Central, La., died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at the Carpenter House.
Mr. Chesson received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His hobbies included hunting, cooking and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Chesson; mother, Willa Dean Comeaux Chesson; daughters, Allison Chesson and Kristen (Frank) Canella; son, Matthew Chesson; and sister, Carolyn Brupbacher.
He is buried at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
