Douglas P. Foret, 80, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011.
Mr. Foret was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Foret; daughters, Lisa (Tim) Perrin and Paula (Gerard) Theriot; brother, Dewey Foret; sister, Mildred Foret; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Clarise Foret; and daughter, Melissa Foret.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at St. Mary Catholic Church with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
