Earline John “Boy” Domangue, 70, a native of Cocodrie, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died Monday, July 18, 2011.


Mr. Domangue lived off of the land. Throughout his life he was a trapper, hunter and fisherman. He lived in his backyard working in his garden and loved spending time on the beach at Grand Isle. His biggest love was his family. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.


He is survived by his daughters, Mary (Eugene Jr.) McFarland and Bernadine Authement; companion, Lois Domangue; brother, Aaron (Earline) Domangue; sister, Marlene LeBouef; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Madora Domangue; and parents, Wilfred and Verna Domangue.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
