Mandated therapy may better serve divorcing couples, counselor says

Earline L. Mire, 87, a native and resident of Raceland, LA., died December 28, 2007 at 6:10 a.m.

Visitation will be from 8 to 11 a.m., in which mass will take place, Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.


Earline L. Mire is the mother of Lois M. Gauthreaux; the mother-in-law of Richard B. Gauthreaux; the grandmother of Christine G. Breaux and the late Maria G. Griffin; the great grandmother of Reggie A. Griffin, Jr., Brayden M., Jordan M., and Brennan J. Breaux; the great, great grandmother of Mary Leslie, and Loleda Jane Griffin, and the sister of Edwise L. Theriot, and Helen Daigle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Mire; her parents, Wallace and Alside Autin Landry; her brothers, Onesipe, Paul, Clifton, Whitley, and Leon Landry, and her sisters, Wilda Plaisance, Annette Arabie, Winnie DeGruise, Edith Plaisance, and Odetta Landry.

She was a parishoner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Samart Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
