Earline Toups Pitre, 85, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died Thursday, May 1, at 3:45 a.m.
She is survived by her son, Curtis Pitre and wife Darlene; daughter, Jackie P. Martin; sister, Rose Pierce; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Numa Ernest Pitre; her parents, Ramie Sr. and Angelina Gisclair Toups; daughter, Sandra A. Chabert; brothers, Leonise, Lodess, Ramie Jr. and David Toups; two infant brothers; and sisters, Alescia Bouffanie, Willavia Chiasson, Leona Anselmi and Noiscia Duet.
She was Catholic.
She was buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Larose, La.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
