Early “Bro” Williams, 70, a native of Paincourtville, La., and a resident of Labadieville, La., died at Audubon Guest House in Thibodaux, La., Friday, January 2.


He is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Benjamin of Conroe, Tx., and Sheila Williams of Labadieville; three sons and spouses, Clyde and Maxine Williams of Thibodaux, Joseph and Sheila Williams of Labadieville and Randy and Diedra Williams of Denton, Tx.; two sisters, Maggie Caldwell and Noelie Rodrigue of Donaldsonville, La.; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie Williams; his parents, Leonard and Elvira Williams; three sisters; and two brothers.

He was a retired truck driver.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, at New Belmont Baptist Church in Labadieville with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
