Eddie Touro Sr., 86, a native of Grand Isle, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Monday, September 22.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Touro; one son, Eddie Touro Jr. and wife Mary Ann; two daughters, Marion Touro and Jeannie Smith and husband Bobby; two brothers; three sisters; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andre and Mariah Touro; one son, Andrew Touro; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and four brothers.
He was a crab fisherman and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Full Gospel-Lighthouse Worship Center in Galliano, La.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, at Lighthouse Worship Center with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
