Eddie “Putchum” Williams Sr., 66, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of New Orleans, La., died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.
Mr. Williams was an engineer with the city of New Orleans,
He is survived by his former wife, Mary Williams; sons, Eddie Jr. (Rene), and Marvin (Carolyn) Williams; sisters, Mildred Johnson and Geraldine Myles; brother, Irvin Williams; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Simon Sr. Williams; sisters, Rosemary Ayo and Espindia Perkins; brothers, Simon Jr., Norman, Sterling, Alton Sr. and Felton Williams; and one grandchild.
Burial is at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Napoleonville. (Williams & Southall)
