March 31, 2011Edith B. Wainwright, 75, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died Tuesday, March 22, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, James Jr., Albert and Sidney Wainwright; daughters, Wilma Hoing, and Susan and Sandra Wainwright; brothers, Manson, Maurice and Davis Billiot; sisters, Ann LaBlanc, Gloria Cheramie and Ollie Verdin; 28 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Wainwright; parents, Albert and Mary Billiot Billiot; one grandson, Kevin Wainwright; two brothers, Antoine and Tilden Billiot; and one sister, Gladys Billiot. (Samart-Mothe)
