Edmond Boveland Sr.

Edmond Boveland Sr., 57, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Boveland; mother, Alberta Boveland; son, Edmond Boveland Jr.; daughters, Melissa Boveland, Simone Green, Whitney Holmes, Danshia Holmes and Brittany Lee; stepdaughter, Qunnita Holmes; sister, Jacquelyn Boveland; brothers, Wilson Jr. and Hezekiah Boveland, Kenneth Bell, Gerald Boveland, George Love and Larry, Marshall and Louis Boveland; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Boveland Sr.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 10, at 11 a.m., at Morning Star Baptist Church on Johnson Ridge.

He will be buried in Blue Lily Cemetery on Johnson Ridge.
