Edna Hebert Allemand, 65, a native and resident of Lockport, La. died Monday, November 19, 2007, at 8:00 a.m.


She is survived by her lifetime friend, Lester Allemand; one son, Nathan Allemand, Jr. and his wife Tessa; three sisters, Lucille Stroder, Elsi Stevens, and Alice Eschette; and two grandchildren, Amanda and Donavon Allemand.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Foreman and Celeste Hebert; one son, Jacques Allemand; one daughter, Dana Allemand; one brother, Tilman Hebert; and one sister, Marie Louis Bruce.

Edna was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Savoir Catholic Church in Lockport. She loved the company of her grandchildren.

Visitation is Tuesday, November 20, 2007, from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday, November 21, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, with the funeral to follow at Holy Savoir Catholic Church in Lockport. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
