January 28, 2010Edna Guidry Duplessis, 88, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died at 6:54 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010.
She is survived by her husband, Ulysses Joseph Duplessis; son, Philip James Duplessis; daughters, Jean (Pete) Hoppe and Sheila (Gary) DeSantis; sister, Ruby Guidry Hotard; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Duplessis is buried at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery.
