Edna Adams Griffin, 90, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, May 11, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Paul Baptist Church at Lafourche Crossing. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her former husband, Freddie Griffin Sr. of Thibodaux; three daughters, Maxine Smith and husband, Elton, of Raceland, La., Ella B. Hawkins and Joyce Ann Griffin of Thibodaux; four sons, Freddie Griffin Jr. and wife, Maxine, of Houma, La., Earl Griffin Sr. and Bernard Griffin of Thibodaux and Eugene Willis of Palo Alto, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ned Adams and Georgette Jones; one daughter; two brothers, Albert and Henry Adams; three sisters, Eula Hills, Alice Scott and Orelia Toussaint; and one great-grandson.
She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church and served on the Deaconess Board.
Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
