Edna Hymel, 75, a native of Alabama and a resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, October 23 at 3 p.m.
She is survived by her daughters, Dianna Dufrene and husband Vaniess Dufrene Jr. and Vickie Scott; brother, James Knoblock; sisters, Evelyn Fontenot and Madeline Anderson; grandchildren, Vaniess Dufrene III and wife Tara Dufrene, Brian Scott and wife Emma Menard and Rick Kissinger; and great-grandchildren, Corinne Breland and Vaniess “Van” Dufrene IV.
Her greatest enjoyment was visiting her family and friends. She was Baptist.
No services are scheduled.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
