Edna Marie Pellegrin

Edna Marie Pellegrin, 61, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 1:58 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011.

Mrs. Pellegrin liked to quilt and loved her pets. She helped many people and thought of others before herself. She was loved by her entire family and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Pellegrin; mother, Mary Pellegrin; sons, Michael Pellegrin and Ethan Staley; brothers, Collins Jr. (Crystal), Justilian (Susan), Ouris (Melissa), Adam and John (Angel) Pellegrin; sisters, Marie and Virginia (Ruby) Pellegrin, Mary (Francis) Toups, Sadie (Stephen) Trahan and Jeanne (Gary) Zeringue; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Collins Pellegrin Sr.; and grandparents, Oris and Marie Pellegrin and Ernest and Eve Benoit. (Chauvin)
