Edward Bentz Sr., 83, a native of Gulfport, Ms., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at
1:09 a.m. Sunday, August 10.
He is survived by one son, Edward Bentz Jr. and wife Penny; one daughter, Cathy Roger and husband Robert; one brother, Albert Bentz; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Curole Bentz; his parents, Henry and Dora Bentz; two brothers, Alvin and George Bentz; and two sisters, Lois Bentz and Doris Estrade.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, August 14, at Thibodaux Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
