Edward Bilbo

Edward Bilbo, 66, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Amelia, La., died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Louise Seales of Amelia; wife, Catherine A. Bilbo of Amelia; children, Charlotte (John Jr.) Celestin, Angela Morehead and Margaret Bilbo, all of Gibson, Edward Joseph Bilbo of Bayou L’ourse, and adopted daughter, Antoinette (George III) Small of Bayou Vista; sister, Rosa Lee Hall of Amelia; brother, Maurice “Kenny Ray” (Rita) Byers; stepchildren, Cloris “Piggy” (Louis) Ross of Gibson, Akeem “Doc” Kimber of Hammond, and Yoshika “Missy” Kimber of Houma; 10 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife; stepfather; and brother.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
