Edward J. Ellender Jr., 77, a native of Bourg, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, June 6, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Ellender; children, Tammy Henry, Edward III and Chris Ellender and Mary (Daniel Sr.) Achee’; sisters, Helen Pitre, Dorothy Prosperie and Darlene Bergeron; brother, Clark Ellender; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Sr. and Madeline Ellender; brothers, Judson and Whitney Ellender; and sister, Adeline Cunningham.
Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, La. (Samart)
