Edward James “Chop” Rosette, 67, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, June 7.
He is survived by his devoted companion, Betty Armant; son, John Cal Davis; step-son, Rene Armant; daughter, Kisha Davis; sister, Jean Bias; three step-brothers; three step-sisters; nephew, Cyrus “Pop” Rosette; and nieces, Renetta “Tweet” Charles and Linda Berry-Galda of Jennings, La.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ezola Brown Rosette; brother, Paul Rosette; sisters, Joellen Collins and Louellen Rosette; and grandparents, Joe and Mary Brown.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at First Corinthian Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Southdown Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
