Edward “Joe” Schmidt, 60, a native of Amboy, Il., and a resident of Hahnville, La., died Tuesday, February 10.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Schmidt; mother, Betty Schmidt; daughters, Deborah Kay Tregle and Catherine Lee Schmidt; brothers, Gary H. Schmidt and Bob Schmidt; sisters, Dixie Lee Link, Joan Peterson, Sue Nichols and Cindy Brinks; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Schmidt.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, February 13, at Life Fellowship Community Church in Bayou Gauche, La., with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Sunset Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
