Edward Orgeron Sr., 70, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011.
Mr. Orgeron was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cornelia Orgeron; sons, Edward Jr. (Kelly) and Steve (Tricia) Orgeron; sisters, Melva Bouvier and Elaine Gisclair; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian Sr. and Maria Orgeron; brothers, Julian Jr., Maurice, Rodney, Harrington, Alvin, Medrick, Alvie, Loyman and Paul Orgeron; and sister, Irene Scurlock.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
