Edwise L. Theriot, 97, a native of Bowie and a resident of Raceland, La., died at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, May 17.
She is survived by her son, Donald J. Theriot and wife, Clara; sister, Helen Daigle; grandchildren, Jeff Theriot and wife, Wendy, Annette Blanchard and husband, Victor, and Donnell DeSandro; and great-grandchildren, Justin, Brady and Lauren Theriot, Claire Blanchard, Collin, Devin and Carly DeSandro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Theriot; her parents, Wallace Landry and Alcida Autin Landry; brothers, Onesipe, Paul, Clifton, Whitley and Leon Landry; and sisters, Wilda Plaisance, Annette Arabie, Winnie DeGruise, Edith Plaisance, Odette Landry, Leona Pierce and Earline Mire.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church.
She was buried at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church Cemetery in Raceland.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
