Thibodaux Chamber hosts awards banquet

Elaine B. Prosperie, 66, a native of Los Angeles, Calif., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher and Craig Prosperie; daughters, Michele Saunders and Dana Prosperie; sister, Janice Sass; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Marcella O’Leary Barnhill; and son, Mark Kenneth Prosperie.
She was retired from the Houma-Thibodaux Diocese.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the family for help with medical expenses.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
