July 11, 2012Elaine Folse Rose, 68, a native of Vacherie, La., and resident of Chackbay, La., died Tuesday, June 26, 2012.
Mrs. Rose was a hardworking family woman who enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved taking care of her flowers and looked forward to family visits. She recently retired from Nicholls State University after 29 years of service. She was a faithful member of Victory Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ernest Rose Sr.; daughters, Karen (Charles III) Richard and Lorili (Edward) Becnel; sons, John (Sandra) and Ernest Jr. (Elizabeth) Rose; brothers, Terry and Leroy (Therese) Folse; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Early and Mabel Folse.
Entombment was at St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. (Thibodaux)
