Elam Joseph “T-Brod” Griffin, 42, a resident of Cut Off, La., died Tuesday, July 8.
He is survived by his companion, Ella Billiot; one brother, William Griffin; five sisters, Callarena Melancon, Doris Gisclair, Rosie Griffin, Ann Rae Mejia and Alice Bourgeois; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Forest and Lovenia Serigny Griffin; one infant brother; and two sisters, Dorothy Duet and Daisy Griffin.
He was a licensed jockey and boat captain.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, July 11, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La., with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
