June 13, 2012Deacon Eldon Frazier, 75, a native of Grand Isle, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 1:05 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2012.
Deacon Frazier became ordained in 1999 and ministered to shut-ins and many others. He was the owner of Frazier Towing Co. and was on the board of directors of State Bank.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Frazier; sons, Mathew and John Frazier and Danny Lombas; daughter, Madonna Scurlock; brother, Nolan Frazier; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Irene Frazier; sons, Gregory and Karl Frazier; brothers, Robert Jr. and Eldridge Frazier and Louis, Claude and Lawrence Loupe; and sisters, Laura Perron, Ella LeBoeuf and Mary Oliver.
Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Cut Off. (Samart-Mothe)
