Lafourche council shoots down Company Canal deal

June 10, 2010Eldon Paul “Sant” Foret Sr., 77, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Monday, June 7, 2010 at 1:30 a.m.
Mr. Foret is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie Authement Foret; sons, Eldon Jr. (Robin) and Don Foret; daughters, Kathy (Scotty) Lirette and Kate (Chris) Antee; sisters, Velma Dehart, Bertha (Ray) Pellegrin and Bella Sevin; sister-in-law, Lois Foret; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Foret is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin.
