Elgin “Gene” Andrew Domangue, 69, a native and resident of Bayou Black, La., died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, after losing his courageous fight.

Mr. Domangue was a classic car enthusiast who enjoyed cruising on the coast.


He is survived by his wife, Hazel Cenac Domangue; children, Leah (James) Lina, Gena Bell, and Gene Domangue; four grandchildren, Kaylee Lina, Jordan Domangue, Jacob and Randi Bell; brother, Marvin (Bertha) Domangue; sisters, Glenda (Johnny) Antill and Judy Use’; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hudson and Enola Hebert Domangue; four brothers, Beuvin, Richard, Hilary, and Myron Domangue; one sister, Mayola Domangue Evans; and his daughter-in-law, Mary King Domangue.
