Elizabeth “Betty Boo” Bergeron Boudreaux, 81, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011.


She owned Betty Boo’s Angels Unlimited Day Care Center for 30 years. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was a member of the Houma Lion’s Club and the Krewe of Hyacinthians, and she volunteered at Chabert Medical Center.


She is survived by her daughters, Sheila (Charles) Boyne, Beryl (Eulen Jr.) Bergeron and Cherie (Blaise) LeCompte; sons, Robert “Robby” (Gayle) and Keith (Judith) Boudreaux; 26 grandchildren, Stacie Bourg, Lubin Raymond III, Katy Morrison, Kristina Deogracias, Keith Jr., Claire, Kacie, Gregory and Travis Boudreaux, Elizabeth Canady, Jeffrey and Meagan Boyne, Stephanie Campbell, Shea’ Kennedy, Sarah Lirette, and Brior, Brenner, Tyler, Saul, Jess, Rusty, John, Matthew, Brendon, Blaise and Jude LeCompte; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey Krieg; and brother, Justin Bergeron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burd Boudreaux; daughter, Cheryl Raymond; parents, William and Stephanie Berthelot Bergeron; sisters, Lorraine Clement, Willie Mae Magehee and Susan Gros; and brothers, Donald and Robert Bergeron.

She is buried at Terrebonne Memorial Park.
