January 28, 2010Elizabeth Laurent, 71, a native and resident of Vacherie, La., died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010.
Mrs. Laurent was a homemaker, a parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, a member of Good Children Benevolent Society and the Perpetual Adoration Group.
She is survived by her son, John Sr. (Trudy) Laurent; daughters, Lena (Clifford) Keller and Yolanda (Derrick) Collins; sisters, Shirley (Joseph) Steib and Geraldine Smith; brother, Joseph (Delores) Laurent; brother-in-law, Capt. Gufielle Keller; and five grandchildren.
She is buried at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church Cemetery in Vacherie.
