Ella Rose Faulk Dozar, a resident of Bayou Vista, La., born on April 18, 1939 in LeRoy, La., passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2006, in Morgan City, at the age of 67.


Ella was Cathoic by faith and a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved this wonderful lady.


Ella was an avid baseball fan who loved and never missed an opportunity to cheer for all of “Her” players. She operated a day care center and was a substitute teacher for St. Mary Parish.

Ella is survived by her husband of 49 loving years, Johnie Dozar of Bayou Vista; her three sons, Briant and his wife Laura Dozar, John Randall” Randy” and his wife Angel Dozar, and Casey Ryan Dozar all of Morgan City; six grandchildren, Lauren, Allison, Grant, Brandon, Danielle, and Ashlyn Dozar; one brother, Joseph Clifford Faulk of Kaplan; and ones dear to her heart, Natalie and Clayton Williamson, Carolyn Rodrigue, and Sirley Chaisson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Faulk.

Visitation will be held Thursday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista beginning at 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be conducted by Monsignor Richard Greene commencing at 10 a.m.
