Elmira E. Percle, 80, a native of Franklin, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011.

Mrs. Percle was a very compassionate and loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She cared for them unconditionally and would never ask for anything in return. She will be missed but never forgotten.


She is survived by her husband, Joseph Percle Sr.; sons, Joseph Jr. (Carol) and Scott (Kim) Percle and Chad Romero; daughters, Vickie (Gus) Romero and Judy (Samuel) Rodriquez; brother, John Carter; sister, “Tot” Christenson; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren;.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Elda Carter; four brothers; and five sisters.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Twin City Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Morgan City Cemetery. (Twin City)
