Elmo “E.J.” Talbot, 73, a native of Schriever, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, July 12.
He is survived by two sons, Clark Talbot and Jeff Borne; one daughter, Stephanie Butcher; one brother, Steve Talbot and wife Bonnie; three sisters, Marilyn Thibodaux and husband Paul, Barbara Boudreaux, and Elizabeth Benoit and husband Nolan; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo Talbot and Gertie LaGrange Talbot; one sister, Ernestine “Tina” Talbot; and one grandson.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
