July 20, 2011Eloi Parfait, 80, a native of Dulac, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:37 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Effie Parfait; sons, Jason and Christopher Parfait; daughters, Effie Chaisson and Sylvia and Krissy Parfait; stepsons, Timothey and Lupe Valdiviez; stepdaughter, Stacy Fitch; 29 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lucy Parfait; and son, Eloi Parfait Jr.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21 at Samart Funeral Home in Bayou Blue, La. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. (Samart)
