Houma man found guilty of wife’s ‘04 storage box murder

Elouise “Mother” Foster, 85, a native and resident of Belle Rose, LA., died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales, LA. Sunday, January 28, 2007.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. today at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville, LA. and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Belle Rose. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.


She is survived by four sons, Ivory Landry and wife, Alma, of New Orleans, LA., Hilman Foster and wife, Antionette, of Washington, D.C., Alton Foster and wife, Katina, of Houston, LA. and Jessie Foster and wife, Brenda, of Houston; six daughters, Luvirtha Lucien and husband, John, Veronica North and husband, Willie, all of New Orleans, Lorraine Hill and husband, Joseph, of Donaldsonville, Alfretta Bradley and husband, Tryone, Orelia Collins and husband, Frank, and Sandra Reed and husband, Frank, all of Houston; one sister, Lubertha Speed of New Orleans; 44 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Foster Sr.; her parents, Orelia and Dan Moore; one daughter, Aullie Rue Foster Wilson; one son, Henry Foster Jr.; three brothers, Willie Alexander and Spurgeon and Moses Moore; and three sisters, Olevia Garcise, Carrie Smith and Buella Pearley.

She was a homemaker.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
