Elsie Ann Luke Garrison Asch, 90, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Bayou Black, La., died at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday, September 2.
She is survived by one son, Donnie D. Garrison and wife Anna of Houma; one daughter, Brenda Sue Alford and husband Gary of Houma; one brother, Lloyd Luke and wife Betty of Taylor, Tx.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Bliss Garrison; her second husband, Kenneth Asch; her parents, Ernest Luke and Inez Cole Luke; four brothers, Jack, Ernest, Gilbert and Eston Luke; and three sisters, Willa Mae Lantzer, Lottie Chauvin and Betty Hutchinson.
She retired after 32 years as a bookkeeper for Buquet Canning Company.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, at Chauvin Funeral Home’s Chapel.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
