Elsie C. Terrebonne, 80, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011.

Mrs. Terrebonne was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of Catholic Daughters.


She is survived by her sons, George Jr. (Carol) and Randy Terrebonne; daughter, Janelle (John) Slocum; brothers, Alcide, Harold, Earl and Edwin Callais; sister, Gloria Curole; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Terrebonne Sr.; parents, Forest and Eva Callais; brothers, Whitney, Guy, Forest Jr. and Charlston Callais; and sisters, Lucille Cheramie, Lillian Curole and Hilda Callais.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 21 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off and 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, July 22 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 p.m. Friday at the church with burial at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
