Elsie Roundtree Vicknair, 81, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 4 p.m. Sunday, January 11.
She is survived by two brothers, Al Roundtree of Seattle, Wa., and Lloyd Roundtree of Thibodaux; and one sister, Ruby R. Boudreaux of Thibodaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester C. Vicknair; her parents, Albert “Baro” Roundtree and Annette Daigle Roundtree; and five sisters, Marion R. Becnel, Mildred R. Lasseigne, Dorothy R. Lundgren, Shirley R. LeBouef and Joyce Roundtree.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, January 15, at St. Joseph Co-cathedral in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
