Elvena LaCoste Holt, 88, a native of Bayou Chene, La., and resident of Bayou Vista, La., and Patterson, La., died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013.
Mrs. Holt loved watching her soap operas and “The Price is Right”. She loved plants and enjoyed vacationing. She was the manager at the Kool King (now known as Sonic) in Patterson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was Baptist.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Ozie), Clarence (Deborah) and Lefus (June) Holt; sister, Ellen Falls; brothers, Burlin, Alfred, David and Donnie LaCoste; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Holt; son, Timothy Holt; parents, Clarence and Cecilia LaCoste; and six brothers.
Interment is at Morgan City Mausoleum. (Hargrave)
