Emelda Marie Lirette, 82, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Friday, May 2, 2014.
Mrs. Lirette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Lee Roy Jr. (Sonia) Lirette; daughters, Jean (C.J.) Leonard and Patricia (Michael) Lodrigue; brothers, Charles (Beverly) and Wayne (Evelyn) Hebert; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Lirette Sr.; parents, Arthur and Justilia Hebert; brother, Bryan Hebert; and sisters, Helen Marcel and Norita Quatrevingt.
Entombment is at St. Louis Mausoleum. (Falgout)
